Replen Scout — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026 · Avodah Consultants LLC d/b/a Business Building Legends ("we," "us," "our")
Replen Scout ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that helps Amazon sellers research replenishable and arbitrage products by overlaying profit, fee, and sourcing tools on Keepa.com and Amazon product pages. This policy explains exactly what data the Extension handles and where it goes.
Summary
- The Extension stores your data locally in your own browser.
- It sends data to only one external service — the Keepa API — using your own Keepa API key, solely to fetch the seller and product data you ask for.
- It does not send your data to the developer or any other third party.
- There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no sale of data.
What the Extension stores (locally)
The following are saved in your browser's local/sync storage on your device:
- Your Keepa API key, used only to authenticate your own requests to Keepa.
- The Amazon seller IDs you choose to track and snapshots of their public storefront ASIN lists.
- Your per-product notes, reviewed marks, fee profiles, prep/inbound/misc costs, saved Keepa searches, retailer-source preferences, and token-protection settings.
- Cached product titles to avoid re-spending Keepa tokens on repeat lookups.
This data never leaves your device except as described below. Uninstalling the Extension removes its locally stored data. Data saved to Chrome Sync storage, such as your API key, may sync across your own signed-in Chrome browsers via your Google account.
Data sent to the Keepa API
When you run a storefront check, pull fees, or look up a product, the Extension calls
api.keepa.com using your API key and the relevant seller ID or ASIN. Keepa returns
the requested data, which is stored locally as above. Your use of Keepa is governed by
Keepa's own privacy policy and terms.
Search links you click
When you use the "Find source," Google, or Amazon-search buttons, the Extension opens a new tab to that site with the product's title or ASIN in the search URL. This happens only when you click, and only to the site you chose.
Permissions and why they're needed
- storage — save your settings and data locally.
- alarms — run optional scheduled storefront checks in the background.
- scripting — display the profit/sourcing overlay on Keepa and Amazon product pages you open.
- activeTab — read the URL of the Keepa tab you're actively using, such as to save the current search.
- Host access to keepa.com and api.keepa.com — show the overlay, read publicly visible product/seller data on Keepa, and call the Keepa API.
- Content scripts on Amazon product pages — show the Replen Scout card and read publicly visible product info on Amazon product pages you open. The Extension makes no network requests to Amazon.
What the Extension does NOT do
- It does not collect or transmit your browsing history.
- It does not send your data to the developer or to any analytics/advertising service.
- It does not sell or rent your data.
- It does not require an account with the developer.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted in the Extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
